What is sublimation printing?

When we describe a clothing garment product as sublimated, it’s then referring to the high spec process by which colour dyes are applied to a fabric. Then the dye-sublimation printing process uses high grade heat to transfer dye onto the fabric and therefore because the dyes bond very well with polyester it is possible to print super bright, well-defined images onto clothing.

Any produced Sublimated Teamwear lasts much longer than traditionally manufactured cut and sew sports products due to the durability of the printing method, this is why they are so popular. These team or club garments will last for many years if looked after as each print is part of the fabric. These super stretchy straps need to be super tight enough to hold your shorts in place securely, but not be so tight that they make putting the shorts on difficult or uncomfortable.

Usually the process is mapped out by your team or club logos, the placements of where they will site on the garments, mock ups are produced, then put together for approval.Once the mock ups, sizes and team colours are approved then its a 3-4 week production and lead time.

We have a MOQ of around 10 garments, the process with lower team orders is more expensive, it’s best to order 50+ units for the very best prices.
